This piece was purchased in Virginia. This charger measures 15 1/2″ diameter. Annette purchased this from an Antique Dealer whom had purchased it out of a local estate it had been stored in the attic of the local home. Annette and John have kept this on a wall in their home for the last 10 years. She was never able to date and identify the mark. Anyone with knowledge that can help on this piece? We have received the following information regarding our Majolica Charger: The charger was made by the small factory “SIFMA”. This factory was estabilished in 1896 in Sesto Fiorentino, a small town close to Florence. The art-nouveau production lasted from 1898 up to 1903, a very short period. In 1906 this factory changed name in Fantechi, the name of the purchaser.
