The largest and best known of the American majolica manufacturers was Griffin, Smith and Hill of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. That is the identified maker of this unique and fun Cauliflower pattern tea pot. Some people call this maker Griffin, Smith and Hill, or Griffin Smith, but again the company was Griffin, Smith and Hill. This teapot measures 5 1/2″ high to the top of the removable lid. From the spout to the opposite handle is 8 1/2″. Good all original condition on this fun piece. If you collect teapots, majolica pottery, or both then this would be a must for your collection!.
