Antique Art Glass Marquetry Vase – signed Moser – Karlsbad on the underside nest to the ground pontil. This vase is beautiful has a neat design the glass vase is carved and has intaglio cut with the orange yellow amber shaded flower in the center.
(I have been told this unusual manufacturing technique often led to failures because the applied “hot pad” flower would cool at a different temperature to the main vase which inevitably led to cracking. This was one of the most unique and sophisticated processes used by Moser or any other glass maker of the period.) Measures 5″ Height 4 1/2″ Diameter at the widest point.
