All original cast iron mechanical ‘Trick Pony’ bank. This bank was made by Shepard Hardware and the action portion of this bank is when you put the coin in the horse’s mouth and then pull the lever will make the pony drop the coin in the trough. This bank measures 8″ long by 2 1/2″ wide and 7 3/4″ high. Good original condition on this mechanical bank that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal collection. Notice on the bottom that this bank is marked, ‘Pat’d June 2nd and July 7th 1885. Also, notice that we still have the original key that goes with this bank.
