Antique Pressed Steel Sonny Military toy Truck with Artillery Gun

This is an excellent original pressed steel toy that was Manufactured by Dayton Toy & Specialty Company out of Dayton, Ohio. Circa 1926. This truck is labeled as the ‘Son-ny trademark Open cab USA 1120 Military jeep with rotating, rear-mounted artillery gun that launches wood shells. This truck measures 23 1/2″ long and is 7 1/2″ wide by 11 1/4″ high. A very unique feature is that this Sonny military truck still has with it three shells that would insert into the cannon. What an amazing find to still have three of these with this toy! Again, this toy would date to the 1920’s what great original condition and a must for any serious toy collector.
