Mt Washington Art Glass Pear Brides Basket with Middleton Silverplated Holder

Exquisite Mt Washington art glass brides basket done in pink exterior with white cased interior that has a crimped ruffled edge that is outlined with a Vaseline glass outer edge. Notice that this basket has an enameled décor of pears on the branches that encircle the base of the basket for an attractive look. This beautiful basket is held by an equally beautiful silver-plated holder that features a full figured young lady figure with her school books hanging from her arm. This stand is impressed on the bottom by the maker, ‘Middletown Plate Co. – Quadruple Plate – 750 – Hard White Metal’. This piece together measures 11 1/2″ high at the widest the basket is 10″ diameter, and the base is 5 1/2″ diameter on the bottom.
