Mt. Washington Melon Design Salt & Pepper Shakers in Meriden Holder

This is a set of Mt. Washington melon design salt and pepper shakers that have enameled flower designs. There is a soft yellow and tan color tone on the two shakers. The shakers measure 2 1/2″ in diameter and stand approximately 1 3/4″ high. This set is then displayed in a signed Meriden Company Silver Plated quadruple holder. Note how the molds of the melons fit perfectly into the holder. What a fun display this makes together. The holder measures 5 1/2″ high and is approximately 5 1/4″ wide by 2 1/2″ deep. The threads are still there for removing the tops on the shakers, and you can remove the tops easily, however there is some extra white substance that we have taken a photo of that someone has added over the years. This is a beautiful set with matching holder and you will not want to miss adding this set to your antique salt and pepper collections!
