This is an exceptional, rare and hard to find piece of New England Glass Company plated amberina. This punch cup is a fine example that is in excellent original condition. Plated Amberina was patented June 15, 1886, by Joseph Locke and Made by the New England Glass Company. It is similar in color to amberina, but is characterized by a cream colored lining and small ridges or ribs on the outside.
This punch cup measures 2 1/2″ high and has a diameter of 2 1/2″, with an amberina applied handle. There is 12 ribbed sectionals on this cup. We are thrilled to be able to offer this fine plated amberina cup for sale. Don’t miss adding it to your own personal collection.
