Cast iron and steel, painted in black, red, and gilt, hand-lettered In Gold Omaha Republican, Omaha Nebraska which was a newspaper that was in business from 1875-1878. (I also have a photo print of the original building in Omaha where it would of come from note the advertising at the top Book Binding) Measures 16 1/2″ wide 12 ” depth and 12” height.
