Antique Cranberry Mary Gregory Victorian Pickle Castor

This is an exceptional all original quality example of a cranberry pickle castor insert that is highlighted with a Mary Gregory design of a young child. Excellent condition on all the items in this complete set with the holder, pickle tongs, silver plated lid and cranberry glass insert. The holder is signed by the maker Rogers & Brother Triple Plate’. This silver frame is beautiful and note the full-figured bird that serves as the finial to lift the silverplated lid of this pickle castor. This holder measures 11 1/4″ high and the platform is 6″ wide at the widest point. The cranberry insert has a diameter of 3 1/2″ diameter.
