Antique all original Victorian pickle castor that features a cranberry inverted thumbprint art glass insert that is decorated with a floral enameled design that features six different colors. The insert is secured in a beautiful footed silver plated holder complete with lid and pickle tongs that is marked by the maker, ‘Rockford Silverplate Co. – Quadruple’. There is an impressed number 691 on the underside of the holder. This stand measures 11″ high and at the widest point is 5 1/2″ wide. The cranberry insert is smaller and measures just 3″ diameter and approximately 4″ high without the silver-plated lid on. Detailed and dainty is this cranberry art glass pickle castor.
