Postage Stamp or Irish Chain Antique Quilt – Green & Blue

This is a detailed pattern squares design antique quilt done in the pattern known as the Postage Stamp, or some might call this pattern a version of an Irish Chain quilt. Notice that this quilt has a small floral green background fabric in the center of the square designs. This quilt measures 76″ x 72″ and the stitching in this quilt is 6 stitches per inch. This quilt was made in the Mennonite community of Lancaster county in Bowmansville, PA and dates to the 1890’s time period. Exceptional original condition.
