What a beautiful detailed scene of family life in the country this print depicts, with a homestead at the river’s bank edge, cattle drinking in the river and people enjoying a boat ride to celebrate the peaceful moments in life. This print reminds one of Currier and Ives prints however I do not have a signature to verify that this is. Also, note the detailed Blck Forest carved wooden frame and the unique joints that secure this frame together. The print measures 7 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ and to the widest points on the frame this piece is 11 3/4″ wide by 10″ high. What a detailed print that would make a wonderful reminder of times gone by. Limitless places to display this print with it being a smaller size.
