This is a fine all original example of a marked RS Prussia large bowl that features the scene that is called Melon Boys, or some refer to it as Melon eaters. Excellent detail and emotion are expressed in this scene. This bowl measures 10 3/4″ in diameter and the edge of the bowl is 3 1/8″ high. Nice gold highlights are trimmed on the upper edge of this bowl and again note the red mark RS Prussia signature on the underside of this bowl.
