Antique Gold Mesh Purse – Mint in the box – Whiting & Davis Company

This is an exceptional find to still have this all-original Whiting and Davis Company antique mesh purse all complete and still with the original Whiting and Davis Company advertising box that it sold in. The box is marked ‘White & Davis Company’ and ‘Made in the USA’ and the purse is marked with both a clothe label and is impressed into the frame of the purse with the signature. There is also the number 2966 impressed into the metal interior frame of this purse. The purse is a gold mesh purse with rhinestone clasp. There is also a small mirror that inserts into the pocket of this purse. This purse measures 5″ x 7″ wide. Note the exceptional cloth interior and the clasp is in excellent working condition. The box measures 6″ x 7 1/4″ and is 1 3/4″ high.
