Ram’s Head with Ring Thru Nose Cast Iron Door Stop

This is a unique all original cast iron door stop, one that is not featured in the antique cast iron door stop reference books. The door stop depicts a majestic ram’s head with horns that curl around the head of the ram circling back inward towards the eyes of the ram. The ram then has a large 3″ diameter ring through the nose. Below this ram’s head there is a slender decorative piece of metal that has a bird casted into the iron, all of this decorative metalwork is supported on a garland draped base that measures 6 1/2″ wide, by 2 3/4″ deep. The total height of this door stop is 14 1/2″ high. Again this is a rare and unusual door stop.
