Antique Set of Three Mason Stoneware Canning Fruit Jars – Black Label – Red Wing

Set of three Mason stoneware canning fruit jars with black labels. There is the gallon, 1/2 gallon and the quart. All three jars have imprinted on them Stone – Mason Fruit Jar – Union – Stoneware Co. – Red Wing Minn.’. The gallon has a Ball impressed zinc cap and on the bottom has a patent date of Jan. 24, 1899. This jar measures 7 1/4″ diameter and stands 10 1/2″ high, the 1/2 gallon is 8 1/4″ high with a 5 3/4′ diameter, and it has an Atlas impressed zinc lid. Last of all there is the quart stoneware jar with its lid that has a large ‘A’ on the top, and it measures 7″ high and has a diameter of 4 1/2″. On the bottom of this quart there is impressed words, ‘Pat. Jan. 24, 1899’. All three jars are in good original condition.
