This is an old antique country store display and dispensing cabinet that held ribbon for sewing. One could easily access the ribbon that you wanted by pulling down on either side of the cabinet one of the six doors. There is a total of 12 doors counting both sides. There is still the original manufacturer plaque on the base of the cabinet that reads, ‘A.N. Russell & Sons – Ilion, New York’. This cabinet measures 28″ deep is 37 1/2″ high and 14 1/4″ wide. People like to use these cabinets in their homes today to either store wine bottles or my favorite is to use them to display one’s crock antique advertising rolling pins! You can get creative and use them in many different ways today!
