Antique ‘Rodeo Joe’ Windup Tin Car Toy

This Rodeo Joe tin lithograph wind-up toy, originally manufactured by the Unique Art Manufacturing Company of Newark, New Jersey in USA Patents Pending. First introduced in the 1930s, this “Crazy Car” features a cowboy character (Rodeo Joe) in a brightly colored vehicle with the slogan “Git Along Lil’ Doggie” printed on the front hood. Performs erratic or “crazy” driving movements.  The toy is made of lithographed tin, a common material for collectibles of that era. Measures 8″ tall by 7″ long by 4″ wide, still in excellent original working condition.
