Antique original Rookwood pottery vellum vase decorated with a subdued floral design that is very appealing and beautiful! This is an artist signed piece of Rookwood by the artist, ‘Lorinda Eppley’, and dates 1906. Lorinda Eppley was at Rookwood from 1904 to 1948, so this would have been one of her earlier pieces. She was born 1874 and died 1951. This vase measures 7 1/2″ high, has a top opening of 1 1/2″ diameter and the bottom is 2 1/2″. This is a beautiful piece of artist signed Vellum Rookwood pottery, however original to this vase there are some tiny air bubbles that were in the top glazing of this vase when it was created. This is still a beautiful piece of Rookwood pottery and the beauty of this vase, and its design are still what your eyes are drawn to.

This piece came from out of the personal collection of the Joe Crane estate in Williamsburg, Missouri. Joe and his wife owned Carhart store, restaurant and museum.
