This is a solid quarter sawn oak table with a carved top with a beautiful turned round pedestal supported on carved claw feet. There are four leaves two of them have matching aprons and carving on the top of them. The table has an unusual runners that operate very smoothly when extending the table. Note the buttons that you push to release the extension to keep an equal balance on this table. There is a brass furniture label that reads: The B & S Tables made in Boston. There are patent dates and the most recent being Nov. 15,1910. Measures 54″ diameter and 29 1/2″ Height. The four leaves are 10 1/2″ wide. The table will extend to a total of 96″. Circa 1910.
