This safe is very detailed and notice the wordage on the front of the safe bank which reads, ‘Burglar Proof House Safe’, and on the underneath side it reads, ‘Key Combination Safe – Manufactured By The J. & E. Stevens Co., – Cromwell , Conn. U.S.A. – Pat’d Aug. 17, 1897’. The coin toy safe will open with the key, and notice the handle on the top of the safe for ease in moving. Beautiful floral designs decorate all sides of this safe. The safe bank measures 6″ high, 5″ wide, by 4 3/4″ deep.
What makes this bank an exceptional find is that it comes with its original wooden storage box that it was shipped in.
