Sheep or Lamb Bronze Antique Statue Artist Signed P.J. Mene

A wonderful heart touching bronze statue of a female ewe sheep. This bronze was created by the artist, ‘Pierre Jules Mene’ and the bronze is artist signed, P.J. Mene’. Pierre is a listed artist in Davenport’s Art Reference books. He lived from 1810 to 1879 and had a studio in Paris. This bronze measures 9 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and is 5 3/4″ high. Again note the wonderful detailed work and even the details in the collar on this fine piece of artwork. –
