Antique Detailed Metal Overlay Table Lamp – Rivière Studios

Riviere Studios Metal Overlay table Lamp. This lamp is beautiful lit with the green slag glass reflecting the light through the overlay. Neat finial with glass and overlay that matches lamp. Excellent original patina. Measures Diameter 15″ and 22″ height. Base is 9 1/4 x 9 1/4″. The Riviere Brass & Bronze Works marketed etched metal art glass lamps and desk accessories under the name “Riviere Studios”. Paul Riviere, for whom the company is named, was a master metalsmith. Mr. Riviere worked for a number of lighting companies before opening the Riviere Studios, from New York in 1904 – 1931.
