This is a unique wall mount towel rack that will fold up against the wall when not in use. Metal tips on either end of the three wooden slats. Notice that this rack is signed with impressed lettering. ‘C. Schermerhorn – Pat. Dec. 9,1873’. Cut out designs on this rack that measures 18 1/2″ wide by 6″ high and when in the drying open position is approximately 6 1/2″ deep. There is also a paper label on the backside that reads, ‘A.D. Matthews & sons – Brooklyn’. What a fun piece to place in your kitchen or bathroom area! Amazing quality on this piece that dates 1873.
