This is a beautiful all original Victorian antique pickle castor which supports a cranberry satin insert with a detailed floral enameled attractive design. This insert measures 4 1/2″ high and has a diameter of 3 1/4″. This beautiful insert is held in a signed, ‘James W. Tufts – Boston – Quadruple Plate – #3397’ quadruple silver-plated holder which features two little Kate Greenaway full figured girls on opposite sides of the holder. This is a remarkable holder, and you will want to note the fully engraved bottom of this holder. Notice the ruffled edge which gives a beautiful and fitting design with the little girls. This stand measures 9 3/4″ high and the base is 4″ x 4″. You will not want to miss adding this remarkable high end quality Victorian Art Glass pickle castor to your own personal collection.
