Mid Century Modern – Art Glass- Unique Candy or Nut Dish with Clear Center and Green Glass Edge

This is a unique piece of glass that features small bubbles on the interior of the glass which is clear in the center and then around the outer edges of the tray there is a green somewhat blue green coloring. Also, note the one edge of the bowl was crimped and pulled upward and in when this tray was originally made for a unique and appealing design. This tray would work well as a nut or mint tray or I could also see this as a jewelry tray on one’s dresser to hold your daily jewelry at night. This piece measures 9″ diameter at the widest and at the highest is 2 1/2″ high. On the bottom there is a 1 1/2″ by 2″ smooth base to secure this dish for a level surface. This is a heavier piece of glass and very unique and beautiful. Circa 1960.
