Antique Victorian Brides Basket – Pink and Cream Cased Bowl with Gold Enameled Floral Design

This is an exceptional Victorian art glass bride’s basket that features a cased two toned cream and pink basket that is encircled with a clear amber edge and a double crimpled and ruffled edge, but the most impressive feature in my opinion is the layered gold enameled floral design that encircles this basket. The basket is secured inside an equally beautiful silver plated claw foot holder that is marked by it’s maker, ‘Wilcox Silverplate Company – Meriden, Connecticut’. The holder stands 15″ high and is 13″ wide at the widest point. The art glass bowl is 11″ in diameter and stands 5″ high.
