Victorian Walnut Cylinder Desk Secretary Bookcase

Victorian Walnut Cylinder Desk Secretary Bookcase is in good condtiion. This cabinet has a beautiful crest with decorative carving and burl panel panels. The double door bookcase have adjusable shelves and note the gorgeous carving on each corner of the doors. The cylinder roll has divided burl panels with details carvings. The three drawers are burl faced with burl columns on the outside. The desk will slide forward and still has the original surface (pulls out to 32″ depth). Measures 42 1/2″ wide, 22″ depth and 100″ height. On the top of the bottom section it reads: Kearney, Nebraska. (I am sure this is where the desk was originally sold or shipped). The desk was purchased from a local auction of Keneth Bellamy’s of Farnam, Nebraska. Circa 1880.
