This is a lovely and harder to find Wave Crest piece, manufactured by the C.F. Monroe Company. It bears the red banner mark on the bottom. It is a hand-decorated piece, with lavender and blue daisies, beautifully painted. The body of the cigar humidor has a slight pink blush tone on the milk glass, which the company called opal ware. The lid is in the blown out shell pattern, decorated with daisies also. The brass rim, latch, and hinge are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. It is in excellent condition. Dimensions of the cigar humidor are: 6″ tall and 4 1/4″ in diameter.
