All original salesman’s sample farm windmill made of aluminum or galvanized metal, and is identified on the vane as being a ‘Model No 12-B – Oilon Bearing – STAR – Manufactured by Aero Mfg. Co. of Lincoln, Nebraska. Notice that on the opposite side of the vane there is wordage that reads, ‘The Pump House – 600 L Street – Lincoln, Nebraska, and 3120 L Street – Omaha, Nebraska’. Note the little ladder on one side! The metal is in clean condition, without corrosion. The windmill spins very easily, and keeps spinning for a little when spun, which means it is nicely balanced.
The piece measures 17 inches tall, base sides are 5 inches square and the windmill part is just over 8 inches wide. What a great old advertising piece this antique salesman sample windmill is. Don’t miss adding this fine piece to your own personal collection.
