Antique Cranberry Art Glass Hinged Round Decorated Enameled Box

Highly decorated cranberry art glass enameled hinged box. This cranberry box features extensive hand-painted gold gilding and raised enamel floral designs. The lid has an unusual deeply cut starburst pattern, and the base has a decorative border with white outlining. The box features a brass hinge and clasp. Measures 4 1/2″ height and 4 1/2″ height. This box dates from the Victorian era or early 20th century. Excellent all original condition and this piece would make an excellent addition to one’s cranberry art glass collection. This piece has been in a private collection for several years.
