Antique Large Amphora Vase Brittany Farm Family

Exceptional all original large Amphora vase that depicts a man and woman with a pitchfork and pail in hand wearing wooden Dutch type shoes strolling out to do chores. This vase with the Brittany Farm Family scene is featured in the reference book, ‘The House of Amphora’ on page 217. Notice the depth of the figures on this vase. Excellent color choices of blues, browns, greens, and yellow, and gold have been selected on this vase. The vase is signed with impressed, ‘Amphora – Austria – 11557 – 42′. Notice that there is also a number ’44’ marked on the vase with black ink. Again, excellent all original condition. This vase measures an impressive 15″ high.
