Antique Lehmann’s The Balky Mule Tin Wind Up Toy in Original Box

Exceptional all original condition on this German made Lehmann’s toy which is titled, ‘The Balky Mule’. The clown driver reacts to the balky actions of the mule which is pulling the cart in this tin wind up action toy. This toy comes complete with its original storage box and paper instruction sheet. This ‘Comical Clown’ instructions state that this toy must be fully wound up by giving it at least 14 or 15 half turns until a resistance is felt as on winding up a watch. The instructions are given in both German and English. The condition of this toy and its box and the fact that the instruction sheet is also complete are proof that this toy was not played with hardly at all. This toy is mint and in the original box. The storage box measures 6 3/4″ x 5″ and is 3″ high. If you collect tin wind up toys then this toy is one that you will definitely not want to miss adding to your own personal collection.
