Antique Tootsie Toy Tanker Truck in the Original Box

This is an extra large size of a Tootsie Toy that is still in it’s original box. The condition is very good. On both the trailer and the truck on the bottoms they are marked ‘Tootsie Toy’, The cab also has ‘Chicago – U.S.A.’ marked on it, and the trailer also has, ‘Made in U.S.A.’ on the underneath sides. The tires are all original, The axle on the front set of wheels on the trailer appears to have been replaced, and the wheels can slide off as they are not secure on the ends of the axle as the truck’s wheels, and the back axle on the trailer are. (You can see this on my photo that shows the underneath side of the Tootsie toy.) The truck is 9 1/4″ long, and 1 3/4″ wide. The box is a little over 9 1/4″ long and 2″ wide. There is two end flaps missing on one end of the box, and all the box ends are missing on the opposite end. Other than the ends missing the box is in very good original condition. On the outside of the box it reads; ‘TOOTSIE TOY OIL TANKER – THE BEST THA???’. Nice to find the large Tootsie toy with it’s original box.
