Antique Chestnut Primitive Country Chestnut Chest – hand dovetailed corners, hinged lid, interior till, and round turned feet. The till was a small compartment used to store smaller, less bulky items like jewelry, personal items, or even cash. This chest has a working key and lock. Measures 43″ Wide 20″ depth and 23″ height. Circa 1870.
