This is an amazing piece of ingenuity that is called a bakers rack. This early antique table will allow you to work on your baked goods while this stand is in the table position and then with the proper placement of your goods you can convert the table into a storage shelf saving you working area and space in your kitchen. This piece will give you excellent display area and can still be used as a working table. What an amazing early piece this is. When in the upright storage rack position it measures 38″wide by 25″ deep and stands 56 high, and when using it as a table is 61″ long and 33″ wide on the table top and is a working height of 31 1/2″ high. There is a furniture metal label on the underside that reads: Manufactured Exclusively by the Combination Table Co. Bryan, O. U.S.A. with the last Patent date February 4th, 1896.
