Beautiful all original Victorian art glass salt dip done by Webb in a tightly crimped pink cased glass insert with an applied clear texturized ring that encircles the salt dip and creates the means by which the salt dip is held in the silver-plated holder. The holder is marked on the bottom, ‘D&A, and also ‘E.P.N.S.’. The EPNS stands for, Electro Plated Nickel Silver. The three legged holder is the widest and it has a diameter of 3″, while the insert at the widest is approximately 2 1/2″ diameter. Together the set measures 1 3/4″ high. This is a beautiful set, and would make a beautiful addition to one’s antique salt dip collections.
