This is a “Black Americana” kitchenware collection, primarily featuring the “Aunt Jemima” and “Uncle Mose” caricatures. This collection was compiled by Annette Ostrom and we are going to offer it as a collection.
The set pictured includes several plastic kitchen accessories, most of which were manufactured by F&F Mold and Die Works in Dayton, Ohio, during the 1940s and 1950s.
This collection Consist of Cookie Jar: The large figure on the right is a cookie jar. Spice Set: The row of smaller figures on the left is a spice set, typically sold with a metal rack. Individual jars often feature spice names like “Cloves,” “Ginger,” “Nutmeg,” and “Paprika”. Large and Small Salt and Pepper Shakers: These sets frequently paired “Aunt Jemima” (salt) with “Uncle Mose” (pepper). Syrup Pitcher: One of the figures is designed as a syrup dispenser. Creamer and Sugar (with the lid).
