Oak Carved Book Holder or Book Ends – Expandable – Folding Hinged Sides

Original quarter sawn oak sliding expandable book holder with hinged ends that allow for easy storage when this book holder is not in use. Note the carved matching ends with a bursting star design. Circa 1910 to 1920’s. Measures 14″ long is 5 1/4″ wide and is 4 1/2″ high. When you extend this book holder out I would say 22″ wide is the farthest that this will extend. This is a well made book holder to store all your favorite books! This came from a collector of oak office furniture in Salt Lake City.
