Antique all original 20 Gallon Red Wing Stoneware crock with large Red Wing emblem wing above the oval ‘Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. – Red Wing, Minn’ advertising oval. What is special about this crock is that it comes with it’s original crock stoneware lid. Notice the wire bail on this crock lid. The crock measures 20″ high and has a diameter of 19″. and when the lid is on this crock measures to the top of the handle 22 1/2″ high. This crock also has the patent date however the date is smeared and not completely legible, which is to be expected on some of the old crocks. The date was ‘Pat. Dec. 2, 1915, which you can read most of that date on this crock. This is again a great find and if you collect Red Wing crocks then you will not want to miss adding this crock to your Red Wing collection.
