Antique Victorian Child’s Cutter Sleigh – 1893

This is a remarkable Victorian child’s cutter sleigh that was made by the Kimball Carriage Company, this company was a long term New England family business. This sleigh came from out of the Bob Brierley collection. Bob was a noted Kansas City artist. Notice that there is an old label that has been attached to the sleigh that reads, ‘William T. Perkins – Feb 2, 1892 – Chicago, Illinois’. Perhaps this was the original owner of this sleigh! This sleigh measures 37 1/2″ high, is 15″ wide and overall 48″ long, while the runners are 37″ long. This is a remarkable Victorian piece that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal antique collection.
