Heintz Sterling on Bronze Ink Well and Pen Holder

This is an arts & crafts all original piece of sterling overlay on bronze, inkwell with letter hold. The piece is signed on the bottom, ‘1144 – Sterling on Bronze – Pat. Aug. 27, 1912’. Notice that the ink well is all complete and original with the glass insert and bronze lid that is so often missing. The inkwell measures 1 3/4″ high and has a 1 7/8″ diameter, the entire piece is 7″ diameter, and the highest point is 2 1/2″ high. This is a fine piece of Heintz and has a nice patina finish to it. Circa 1912
