One of the finest Mt. Washington peach blown brides bowls with detailed gold enameled floral designs that evenly decorate the sides of the ribbed bowl, and has a clear cased overlay. The bowl is deeper measuring 5 1/2′ high and has a diameter of 11 1/2″. Of equal beauty is the signed ‘Wilcox Silver Plate Company – Meriden, Connecticut, Quadruple Plate – 5506′ stand that features three winged cupids each doing a blacksmith task. Exceptional detail has been given to each of these Cupid or Cherub figures and their blacksmithing task and tools. Each of the cupids doing a different task, one working the bellow, another working the anvil with hammer held high, and the third is fine tuning a piece with the vice clamp. The stand measures 11 1/2″ high and with the bowl on top measures 16’ high. Wow! What a statement! This is an exceptional piece in remarkable original condition.
