Pair of Antique Royal Dux Man & Woman Figurine Statues – Detailed Work

These exquisite statues stand 19 1/2″ high (man) and 18″ high (woman). The bases are 5 3/4″ in diameter. Again, look closely at the wonderful contrast and detail of the textures on these vases, the roughness of the man’s draped cloak, to the smoothness of the woman’s face and arms. Usually, you see on Royal Dux the brown, green, and gold colors used, however these statues are brought more to life with varying shades of purple, pink, and blue, not to mention the normal greens, browns, and gold. These statues have the pink triangle marking with the encircled ‘E’ that has the words, ‘Royal Dux – Bohemia’ around it. The man also has the number ‘650’ impressed in the bottom and the woman has the number ‘651’. Excellent original condition. These pieces are from Joe Utterbach from Missouri collection.
