Antique cast iron “Pig in High Chair” mechanical bank manufactured by the J. & E. Stevens Company of Connecticut. Late 19th Century (circa 1890s) Decorated nickel-plated cast iron. Placing a coin on the tray and pressing the lever causes the pig’s tongue to move, swallowing the coin. On the underside of the bank there is a patent date of Aug 4, 1897. The height is 6″ height.
