Antique Metal Covered Ink Well – 3 Whippet Sitting Dogs – with Insert

This is a unique and attractive antique metal inkwell that features three Whippet dogs sitting at attention and they are supporting a hinged ball that secures a small milk glass ink well insert. Note the two toned metal with the dogs being a gold color and the base and hinged ball being silver in color. This makes for a nice and attractive contrasting color combination. The ink well insert does have a gold rim around the top edge that makes a nice look against the milk glass base. This piece measures 5″ high and on the base is 4 1/4″ diameter.
