In original condition, this Buddy Lee Doll is a great example of an early Lee Jeans & Workwear advertising. Buddy Lee was an advertising mascot for H.D. Lee, and the dolls were used a promotional items for the company from 1920 to 1962. Buddy Lee came in various outfits including Engineers, Cowboys, Service Station Attendants, as well as many others. This particular doll is made of composition, was made in the 1950’s, and features the Cowboy outfit with Blue Denim Jeans, bllue shirt, red handkerchief and Felt Cowboy Hat that has a band that reads: Ride’em in Lee Copper-Riveted Rider Overalls . He is all original. Measures 14″ Height.
