American Brilliant Cut Glass Cheese Dome Dish

Stunning and beautiful American Brilliant cut glass cheese dome dish complete with underplate is in excellent original condition. This is an exceptional find for a hand-cut dome that is over 125 years old! Beautiful, heavy and clear 3/8” thick blank that rings like a bell. This magnificent multi faceted dome includes deep cut elaborate hob stars, and many complex cuts. The underplate measures 10″ diameter, while the bottom of the cheese dome measures 6 3/4″ diameter and when together this set measures 8″ high to the top of the cut glass finial. This piece came from out the personal collection of an antique dealer in the Moberly, Missouri area.
