Cranberry Double Insert Victorian Pickle Castor

This is an exquisite and detailed cranberry double insert Victorian pickle castor. Note the floral bands which encircle the bottom of the holder, the center of the cranberry inserts, and the center of the lids. This makes for a beautiful eye appeal with the floral theme carried throughout the three detailed bands, on the base, the center of the insert, and the silverplated lids. This silverplated holder is marked by the maker, ‘Derby’s Silver Company – Derby, Connecticut – Quadruple Plate – #110’. The holder also features three detailed wise owls a top the holder.
